Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American from Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. His father was Argentine and Scottish English descendance. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English descent. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's previous marriage. The family lived at Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move into London was difficult and she did not take the time to learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the switched from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. She dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order to focus on her acting career. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to be an actor and her dream came true after she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
