Lucy Liu was born in the US. Liu is an American singer, actress and voice-over artist. Being a smart and beautiful actor, Lucy Liu acts as a role model for several Asian actors working in Hollywood who wish to make it big. After a series of appearances on popular television series and movies, she gained fame when she was cast as a character in Ally McBeal legal comedy where she portrayed Ling Woo. It was a moment of fame that led to films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She delivered a stunning performance in the role of Japanese gangster O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino.
