Kelly Clarkson was an American musician and singer who became the America's sweetheart when she won American Idol in the first series. Her win was not only an enormous success however, it also secured the singer a contract to record several albums with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records. In the years since her debut in the series, she has released a number of albums. Of those albums three reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The other albums were also near the top. Her name is among America's top performers. As she achieved success she explored a variety of themes and music styles often writing her own songs with her personal feelings. As a tribute to her talent and individuality, she has been rewarded with a variety of accolades and accolades. In particular, she's won three times the Grammy Award three times. In addition to her musical career, she also has had a stint in TV and film. She has also written the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of several charities.
