Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez an American/Cuban TV arbitrator with Caso Cerrado, is the anchor of Ana Polo Rules. Ana Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami in the year two. Born in Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the prestigious Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" which was the first Spanish language program nominated for a Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award, and in 2015 ranked as the number one Spanish-language program in the 4pm hour across all key demos. Polo, born on April 11th, 1959, in Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Science. After that, she earned her PhD in law at University of Miami. University of Miami. For 20 years, Polo practiced in Miami. Then, after earning her PhD from University of Miami in law and working in the law profession for 20 years, she returned to Miami city for over 20 years. Polo was first shown to viewers on television in 2001 through Telemundo's show Sala de Parejas (2001) and other shows on courts where the legal skills of her was showcased. Literary Works and Accolades in 1958 she published the book Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children), with which she was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in 1960. She is a breast cancer survivor. Polo often speaks, and has a tendency to raise money for the cause. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT issues. She graduated in 1987 from her University of Miami School of Law in 1987 and is an attorney in the Florida Bar.
