Charissa Thompson

Thompson moved on from FOX Sports in 2010 and performed double duty hosting both Versus as well as Yahoo Sports. She hosted Versus' NHL studio coverage and also recorded web-based video for the highly-visited Yahoo platform. She was also responsible for the site's presence at high-profile events such as those of the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. She became a popular host on both shows, which led her to join ESPN in August of 2011. In this capacity, she hosted the new program in the afternoon called "Numbers Never Lie" on the network. In July 2012, she made the transition to the wildly popular "SportsNation," enjoying a long-lasting and successful show that ran until she resigned from the network in order to come back to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May 2013. An avid sports enthusiast, Thompson has also shown an impressive range of skills to cross over into the entertainment realm of TV. Thompson was hired to be a co-host of"Extra," the Hollywood magazine "Extra" in June 2014 after several part-time jobs.
